Dear Friends,
Like the vast majority of board members, I wanted Les Glénans to reintegrate the activities of GISC in Ireland , in order to continue sailing together and sharing our values. By this time, the bases of Baltimore and Collanmore are operational: the fleet, the program, the trainees and a dynamic and enthusiastic sector committee.
|
Undoubtedly, much has already been done, but there is still a lot more to do. We were aware when the reintegration decision was taken , that we would be faced with technical, administrative, legal, and communication issues. Everyone involved is doing their best to solve these issues as soon as they appear but it is not always as simple as it seems.
Be assured that my primary concern, is that the reintegration of Irish activities is a success. The whole Les Glénans team works this way and I know I can count on the dedication and professionalism of the permanent team, on the commitment of the secteur committee and also on your support.
With my Best regards
Jean-Pierre Glasser President of Les Glénans
